The Town of Victoria Park, in conjunction with Phase3 Landscape Construction, engaged Forpark to provide new ParkFit nodes as well as a Dog Agility area. The park features 31 individual Parkfit components across 5 nodes.
This park is located across from Crown Resort and is a well-utilised park within walking distance to the Swan River. Up until 1985 parts of the park were used as a rubbish disposal site. This combined with the high-water table gave us some unique challenges with installation.
The months leading up to installation saw some of the highest monthly rainfall figures across Perth. In the week prior to scheduled installation most of the fitness area was flooded. We worked closely with Phase3 and our installation team to determine the best course of action for a successful installation.
